Rev. Doug Bohall
Rev. Doug Bohall was appointed to Honey Creek UMC in July 2019. Having grown up in Greenwood, Doug and his wife, Rhea, feel they are back home at Honey Creek. They are thrilled to have the opportunity to serve again in their hometown.
Doug has served in the United Methodist System for the last 20 years. He has served at Trafalgar, Amity (Greenfield), and Elwood United Methodist churches prior to moving back to Johnson County in the summer of 2019. Before coming to the United Methodist system, Doug spent 16 years serving congregtions of the Church of the Nazarene.
Doug and Rhea have five grown children and love spending time with their three granddaughters.
Doug strives to present weekly messages that inspire, educate and stretch his congregation to emulate the life of Jesus Christ. Helping people to deepen their relationship with God is the vocation to which Doug was called as a very young man.
